I know that most of your day is spent dealing with the emotions of 4 year olds! I like the use of the sound for your students since they are nonreaders. You are able to expose them to the technology as well as work with their emotions!

Helping preschools learn about emotions and to help them keep emotions in check is so important. We have 4 year olds who hit, scream, cry, and throw temper tantrums. Working to help them understand why they get frustrated and positive ways to control that frustration is so important as a life skill. Your PowerPoint situations in your student sample are very real world for 4 year olds.

My feedback is... emotions are such an overlooked topic. They certainly control so much of your students' days that this unit is certain to have benefits. Our middle schoolers could benefit from your unit, too. I think they'll enjoy the collage.

This is a cute unit, but it is so appropriate for children of that age. I have a friend who teaches kindergarten. I just might send her a link to your unit (with your permission, of course). I know she would like it, and I'm sure her kids would, too. The jack-o-lantern is really a good choice for fear! I used to carve them for Halloween, and the little kids in the neighborhood would be afraid to come to my door for their candy! Your computer rules would be appropriate for some of my seventh graders - especially the "Quit Clicking" rule. Good job.
